Do you have a question you need answered? Here are some of my most frequently asked questions. Have a look through this list first, and if you don't find the what you're looking for, feel free to shoot me a message on my contact page.

 

Q. Do you take custom orders?

A. Most of the time, no. But occasionally, if I have a clean slate, I will open up a few custom slots. If you would like to be notified when custom slots have opened, please subscribe to my email list. Slots are filled on a first come first serve basis.

 

Q. Can you repeat a yarn from the past?

A. I can sure try, but due to the nature of hand dyeing and hand spinning, it will never be exactly the same.  

 

Q. Do you offer hand spun sweater quantities?

 A. This has a similar answer to the custom yarn question. If I'm caught up on all other projects during the time of your inquiry, then we can begin discussing a sweater spin. 

I prefer to spin sweater quantities using fibre from the same dye batch, so please have your pattern and required yardage readily available upon inquiry.

Also please note that I can only offer worsted weight or heavier for sweater spins. 

 

Q. Can you rush my order? 

A. If it's a club, or a made-to-order item, then no, I can't. I put those turnaround times in the listings specifically to allow room for...my life.

If it's for a ready-to-ship item however, then I can do my best to ship it out same day. Please leave a note upon checkout, and select the appropriate shipping method (it will cost more!)

Q. Where is my package?

A. If you purchased tracking, then your tracking number will be attached to your shipping notification email. If you did not purchase tracking, then I cannot help you. Once your package is shipped, it is completely out of my hands.

I strongly recommend selecting the tracked option at checkout as it allows me to keep an eye on your parcel once it is out of my hands. I am not able to refund or replace any untracked parcels that may be lost in transit, nor am I able to assist you in locating any parcels that get lost on their way to you.
